    Abstract: The box includes elements for storing fish hooks which consist of a rack (36) in the form of a flexible incised band wherein are pinched the bottom of the branches (4) and, of an outer rack (32) which serves as a prop for the fish hooks (3), retaining them at their hooks or the knot (41) and, of an inner rack (34) fitted with slots for housing the branches and protect them from the mother line (2) during spinning. The storage elements are in the form of rectilinear bars (10) for boxes made of a parallelepiped casing fitted with stanchions (6) at each of its angles. According to an embodiment variation, the storage elements are in the form of a crown forming the upper rim of a truncated box.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for marine seismic prospecting in which a long spacing linear array of seismic detectors is spaced from a seismic source and connected to a recording apparatus on a survey ship. A short spacing linear array of seismic detectors is also spaced from the seismic source and signals thereof supplied to suitable channels of the recording apparatus in common with some of the signals from the long spacing detector array. The principal and auxiliary signals in the common channels are distinguishable as a result of relative amplitude and time separation.
