Abstract: Privacy Systems for a Fence comprise a plurality of elongates privacy inserts positioned in at least one locking member comprising a plurality of locking tabs. In one embodiment, the locking member is laterally inserted into the bottom of a chain link fence perpendicular to the privacy inserts. Apertures near the bottom edges of the front and rear sides of the privacy inserts engage the locking tabs thereby retaining the privacy inserts in alignment in the chain link fence. The locking tabs on front and rear support walls of the locking member are preferably laterally offset from each other.

Abstract: Fence slats having a body portion defined by a first tubular section, an intermediate portion and a second tubular section integrally formed with the intermediate portion. At least one and preferably a plurality of outwardly extending stops are formed in the intermediate portion.

Abstract: Landscape edging comprising a plurality of elongated border sections each having end portions which are disposed proximate to each other, and, a cover disposed over the top of a seam created by adjacent border sections. Another aspect comprises decorative elements movably positionable along a visible portion of the landscape edging allowing users of this landscape edging, whether landscapers or consumers, to create their own decorative design.

Abstract: Privacy inserts for chain link fences comprising at least two portions which are movably connected by a connecting portion so that at least one portion is movable from a first position where it does not overlap another portion to a second position where at least two portions of the fence insert overlap. Also disclosed are methods of inserting these fence inserts into a chain link fence comprising the step of moving at least one portion from a non-overlapping position relative to another portion to a position where the portions overlap prior to inserting the fence insert into a fence.

One embodiment comprises a plurality of slats having a central, substantially tubular section with opposing wings positioned in an offset manner such that the wing on one side of the central tubular portion is disposed more forwardly of the wing on the opposing side of the central tubular portion.

Abstract: Fence slats for chain link fences and assemblies in which the fence slat comprises an elongate body having a pair of stops extending outwardly from the slat which form a passageway therebetween and which when such slat is slated in a channel of a chain link fence at least a portion of a link is positionable in said passageway to prevent movement of the slat from the chain link fence. In one embodiment the one of the stops is tapered to readily allow the slat to be inserted in a channel of a chain link fence and lock thereto in a snap-fit manner. In another embodiment the stops are a pair of raised circularly-shaped raised tabs.

Abstract: A two-piece fence slat for chain link fences and assemblies in which the fence slat comprises a hollow elongated body and an insertable locking member. The elongated body has a sidewall with at least one aperture extending therethrough. The insertable locking member is receivable in the elongated body and includes at least one stop dimensioned to extend through the aperture. Another embodiment comprises a hollow body member with at least one, integrally formed stop.
