Abstract: A system and method for compliance with flood insurance monitoring requirements comprises a central computer system containing a database of essentially all properties affected by map changes, including any official action undertaken by or on behalf of FEMA in its administration of the National Flood Insurance Program. The database is provided to remote users, particularly mortgage servicers, on a subscription basis.
