  • Patent number: 4964606
Abstract: There is disclosed a mounting structure for a CRT display which includes a pair of tubular support members with the first one secured to a ceiling surface and the second one slidably mounted within the first one. Knobs are included to lock the second support member in an adjusted position within the first support member. A yoke assembly secured to one end of the second tubular support member includes a yoke member secured to the support member, a tray member rotatably secured to the yoke member for supporting the display and adapted to be rotated to an adjusted position, a strap member secured to the yoke member for holding the display on the tray member and a locking knob for locking the tray member in the adjusted position.

  • Patent number: 4890198
Abstract: A method and retainer for retaining a circuit board in a mounted position within a housing of an electronic device. A working distance is determined, which is defined as the distance between the circuit board and the housing, and the length of the retainer is adjusted to such working distance, so that when a first end portion of the retainer is secured to a circuit board and the circuit board is mounted in the housing, the second end portion of the retainer is positioned to engage the housing and thereby retain the circuit board in a mounted position during shipment of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 4873850
Abstract: A drawer assembly which prevents a drawer from "jamming up" in a locked position when the drawer is slammed shut while a locking arm associated with a key lock on the drawer is in a locking position. A projection on a retainer clip located on the inside of the front panel of the drawer keeps the locking arm from being bent, and also keeps the drawer from moving to the closed position from which a latching mechanism asociated with the drawer would be placed in a locked position.

  • Patent number: 4811579
Abstract: A manually operated release mechanism includes a spring actuated latch mechanism for latching a cash drawer within an enclosure upon movement of the cash drawer to a closed position. A rod member rotatably mounted adjacent the latch mechanism extends to a position adjacent the front edge of the enclosure. A drive member located adjacent the front edge of the enclosure has two cam surfaces, one of which is positioned adjacent one end of the rod member. When the cash drawer is in the closed position, a key actuated locking assembly on the cash drawer moves the drive member to an actuated position which engages and rocks the rod member to a position releasing the latching mechanism from engagement with the cash drawer. A depending tab portion of the cash drawer engages and slides the drive member to a home position upon opening of the drawer. The locking member disables the cash drawer from being operated by a solenoid mounted within the enclosure structure when moved to a locking position.

  • Patent number: 4758780
Abstract: A circuit board test apparatus includes an interchangeable interface board adapted for use with a particular type of circuit board to be tested, a receiver board with which said interface board engages, a back plane board located generally parallel to said receiver board and containing analog and digital buses, and a plurality of analog and digital interface and controller boards mounted generally perpendicular to said receiver and said back plane boards and electrically connected thereto. The test apparatus also includes vacuum apparatus for drawing the circuit board to be tested into engagement with the interchangeable interface board and further includes several embodiments of means for directing a stream of ionized air across the circuit board to be tested to eliminate static electrical charges therefrom.
