    Abstract: It is a spring operated device which can be placed in a gun like a cartridge. It does not fire a bullet like a conventional cartridge. When the gun is fired a spring will release and render the gun inoperable. In one embodiment, the device can be reset by pushing a rod down the barrel of the gun and compressing the spring.
