  • Patent number: 11940175
Abstract: A sound level control system for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system is provided. The sound level control system comprises an outdoor unit with a compressor, an outdoor fan, and an outdoor controller and a communication device located at a predefined distance from the outdoor unit. The communication device measures sound levels in response to operating the outdoor unit. The outdoor controller is configured to receive a first noise level limit for a predefined time period, receive an instruction related to selective control of the outdoor unit, selectively control both of the compressor to rotate at a first compressor speed and the outdoor fan to rotate at a first fan speed based on the noise level limit for the predefined time period, and receive information related to whether a sound pressure level at a predefined location exceeds the first noise level limit for the predefined time period.

  • Publication number: 20170097036
Abstract: A telescoping assembly includes a rod with a recess in the rod. A first collar surrounds the rod, and a detent extends through the first collar. A second collar surrounds at least a portion of the first collar. The second collar has a locked position biasing the detent radially inward through the first collar and against the recess in the rod and an unlocked position allowing the detent to move radially outward through the first collar and away from the rod.

  • Patent number: 6802641
Abstract: A mixing system employing a rotary blade mixing assembly designed to mix liquid-like, resinous powders with a particulate tinting agent or other additive to produce a uniform, homogeneous powder is disclosed. The mixing system includes a mixing container that may be inverted up to 180° and includes a rotary blade mixing assembly having at least two sets of mixing blades connected to a central shaft and arranged in parallel planes, each set having at least two mixing blades which are connected to the central shaft. Each blade is pitched at an angle to about 20° to about 45° from horizontal as measured following a 180° inversion of the mixing container. Use of the method of the invention is advantageous when uniform color of the final coating powder is desired.
