    Abstract: A cage system capable of accommodating pluggable modules having different form factors is disclosed. The interior dimensions of a receptacle portion of the cage can be modified by selective orientation of a divider, or septum, device. Embodiments of the cage include EMI containment structures so as to minimize EMI emission. Other embodiments include heat sink structures that are disposed so as to absorb heat from modules received within the cage receptacles.
