Abstract: A wrench that combines the narrow profile of an Open End with the adjustability of a large in profile Adjustable wrench and that meets the "Wrench Clearances for Open End Engineers Wrench 15.degree.", (from SAE Aeronautical Drafting Manual). The turnbuckle principle linked to wedge pins that move through crossing slots provide for parallel movement of two slidably connected wrench-halves. Actuation mechanism is shifted from the standard head location to the intermediate portion of the handle and the ends of the wrench are designed for turning two consecutive size ranges.

Abstract: Slip-joint pliers of the two-position jaw adjustment type and adjusted by a method of pivot pin through slots shifting in the inoperative positions of the pliers, and settings maintained by interference of opposing plier body elements and in which the pivot pin remains on the respective center lines of the tool in the operative positions resulting in a cooperative geometry for spring loading the plier handles and enabling the plier jaws to fully clamp as well as have the tool cut materials in both jaw adjusted positions, the spring loaded handles set, prior to initiated spring resistance, so that the cutting elements are lined up, ready to start cutting as an alternative to visual alignment only, of the cutters.

Abstract: Adjustable pliers of the tongue and groove jaw adjustment type in which the pivot pin carries and slides one member along a tracking section of an intermediate portion of the other member in an interlocking but free sliding manner and in which the pivot pin has been placed closer to the work center of the plier jaws for increased leverage of the tool.

Abstract: An adjustable wrench socket of the screw adjustment type in which two identical jaws facing each other have a multiple non-slip grip on nut and screw heads and in which the jaw movements are synchronized in respect to the axis of their mutual housing that slidably engages them but controls them in all other unwanted directions and further provides for adaptability to commercial drives and their extensions.
