  • Patent number: 11765649
Abstract: A method and system for a base station (BS) configured for sharing among a plurality of public land mobile networks (PLMNs), and for providing open radio access and/or closed subscriber group (CSG) radio access for user equipment devices (UEs) served. The BS may make a determination of which PLMNs have enabled CSG and which have not, and may transmit a request to a core network of each PLMN to set up an interface connection with each. Based on the determination, the request may either include information for configuring CSG radio access, or information for configuring only open radio access. For each PLMN having CSG enabled, the interface connection may be established for CSG radio access for UEs associated with PLMNs having CSG enabled. For each PLMN not having CSG enabled, the interface connection may be established for only open radio access for UEs associated with PLMNs without CSG enabled.

  • Patent number: 11354318
Abstract: As a user navigates a website and/or mobile application, events may be captured. Example events include user interactions, return of information from services, and recommendation calls. Event stream data associated with the event may be collected once and provided to a server platform via a streaming data service. The event stream data may be converted to an appropriate structure for storage at the server platform by applying a schema. The schema applied may take advantage of a format in which the event stream data is captured at the client application. This enables the client application to provide minimal data to the server platform (e.g., an incomplete record) and the server platform to complete the record according to the schema. The event stream data may be saved internally within a database of the server platform, and distributed to one or more third parties in a compatible format.

  • Patent number: 10967197
Abstract: Phototherapy devices for the treatment of truncal acne and scars include, for example, a body portion having a bottom surface and a top surface that is configured to hang on a person's shoulders and cover the upper back and/or chest. The body portion further having left and right shoulder portions extending forwardly from the body portion and curled downwardly to hook over a person's shoulders. The shoulder portions further define a space for a person's neck therebetween. A phototherapy lighting component is configured to emit a light from the bottom surface of the body portion and forwardly extending shoulder portions. In use, the person places the shoulder portions on their shoulders with the body portion hanging downwardly against the person's back or chest, for example, wearing the body portion like a cape or bib. Using the lighting component, a therapeutic amount of light is administered to the person.

  • Publication number: 20200030627
Abstract: A phototherapy device, system, and method for treating acne and/or acne scarring, includes a light emitting device configured and arranged to emit light from a bottom surface thereof; and an attachment portion having an aperture therethrough configured to permit light through. The attachment portion is configured to retain the device to a user's skin and bathe the skin with phototherapeutic light from the light emitter. Attachment of the device may be preceded with the application of synergistic fluid, ointment, gel, cream, lotion, foam, soap, or other solutions which may or may not consist of known topical acne treatment agents, augment device attachment to the skin, and/or have photodynamic properties. The light emitted may be any wavelength, combinations of wavelengths, intensity, pulse frequency, and exposure duration.

  • Patent number: 10194560
Abstract: In one embodiment, a printed circuit board has a hole. The hole has a longest extent on a surface of the printed circuit board. A clip is held in the hole by feet of prongs. The feet are extensions each having a length that is more than half the longest extent of the hole. A heat sink is held, in part, relative to the printed circuit board by the clip. A part of the heat sink contacts a loop of the clip and applies a force on the clip directed away from the printed circuit board. The feet of the clip on an opposite side of the printed circuit board than the heat sink hold the clip to the printed circuit board to counteract the force. The prongs are configured to offset the feet such that the extensions overlap with the lengths extending along the longest extent of the hole by less than a sum of the lengths of the feet and less than the longest extent for insertion through the hole.

  • Publication number: 20180011874
Abstract: Peer-to-peer redundant file server system and methods include clients that determine a target storage provider to contact for a particular storage transaction based on a pathname provided by the filesystem and a predetermined scheme such as a hash function applied to a portion of the pathname. Servers use the same scheme to determine where to store relevant file information so that the clients can locate the file information. The target storage provider may store the file itself and/or may store metadata that identifies one or more other storage providers where the file is stored. A file may be replicated in multiple storage providers, and the metadata may include a list of storage providers from which the clients can select (e.g., randomly) in order to access the file.

  • Patent number: 9787188
Abstract: An on-package voltage regulation system includes a platform controller hub (PCH), a driver metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (DRMOS) control unit, and a plurality of inductors coupled to an output node. The PCH receives a voltage feedback signal corresponding to an output voltage at the output node, and outputs a control signal based on a difference between the voltage feedback signal and a reference voltage. The DRMOS control unit includes a plurality of switch transistors and a DRMOS controller. The switch transistors are coupled to the output node through the plurality of inductors. The DRMOS controller includes logic to determine an output current based on the control signal from the PCH, and to determine a distribution of the output current through the plurality of inductors. Transistor drivers control the switch transistors to share the output current through the plurality of inductors based on the determined output current and distribution.
