  • Patent number: 12643646
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a deflection device for a trolling motor assembly that deflects aquatic vegetation and other waterborne debris. The deflection device includes a deflector plate disposed on one side of a down shaft of the trolling motor and a cutting member disposed on an opposite side. The deflector plate includes a bottom edge, an oblique front edge, a rear edge, a first and second angled leg that each extend outward from the rear edge, and a top edge. The cutting member includes at least one cutting edge disposed adjacent to a location where a propeller of the trolling motor is mounted.

  • Publication number: 20150056342
Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a package that allows substantially the entire surface of a product (such as fresh red meat) to be in contact with a desired internal gas concentration. In addition, the disclosed package ensures that large amounts of the product surface are not in contact with the packaging materials to prevent discolored product areas. Particularly, the disclosed package comprises a support member, a thermoformed lidding film, and an oxygen-sensitive product. The lidding film includes one or more ridges that prevent direct contact with the product. As a result, uniform product color is maintained and the product appearance is preserved.

  • Publication number: 20110097686
Abstract: A gingival retraction system for retracting gingival tissue surrounding a selected tooth within the mouth of a subject is disclosed. In one aspect, the gingival retraction system has a gingival retraction cord and a handle. The gingival retraction cord has at least one lead portion and at least one retraction portion. Portions of the gingival retraction cord are positioned within the gingival sulcus surrounding the selected tooth. The handle can be used to tighten and shorten the portion of the gingival retraction cord positioned within the gingival sulcus surrounding the selected tooth.

  • Patent number: 4772218
Abstract: An improved terminal block for conductively interconnecting a plurality of electrical wires includes a plurality of guide passages conductively interconnected by an internal metal element. A leaf-spring element disposed within each guide passage has a tab formed thereon inclined toward the wire and extending along the wire in the direction of insertion. A wire inserted into the guide channel is easily inserted between the tab and the conductive element and is biased into contact with the conductive element by the leaf-spring. If the wire is pulled, the tab tends to bite into the wire, resisting disengagement. The transverse axis of the tab forms an acute angle with respect to the transverse axis of the wire, such that the wire can be twisted from beneath the tab and "unscrewed" from its guide passage.
