  • Patent number: 5259521
Abstract: This invention relates to a portable Tack Rack having sturdy framework construction and to a collapsible equestrian Tack Rack which may be readily assembled and disassembled. The Tack Rack includes two (2) rigid rectangular frames connected such that the frames fold one against the other and unfold such that at least one of the frames sit upright from a support surface. • Patent number: 4798395
Abstract: An exercising, recreational and utilitarian apparatus, particularly useful for persons handicapped as to use of their lower limbs or having cardio-pulmonary or ancillary physical problems, comprising a mobile chassis having forward and rearward ends referenced to the normal direction of its motion and mounting a forwardly and upwardly inclined adjustable support having thereon a body rest for mid and upper portions of the body of a user and immediately to the rear thereof an upwardly projecting vertically inclined forwardly facing seat which backs the buttocks of the user and induces the forward inclination of the mid and upper portions of the user's body. Immediately forward of said support, within easy and comfortable reach by the user's hands, is a transversely extending rod-shaped control bar which commonly mounts the controls for driving, steering and braking said apparatus in the course of its travel.

  • Patent number: 4619462
Abstract: Apparatus having particular but not limited use for exercise purposes by persons handicapped as to use of their lower limbs or having cardio-pulmonary or ancillary physical problems comprises a body support adapted to maintain the trunk of the body supported thereby in a substantially dynamic balance leaving the lower limbs or limb of the body to depend free of load from the trunk of the body, the support being limited to maintaining the trunk of the body in an attitude which is other than vertical. In a preferred mobile embodiment the body support has a wheel base and provides a cycle structure. An improved braking system used with the cycle structure is simply controlled through grips illustrated in connection with a handlebar, a slight forward rotation of which achieves a safe braking action with great ease and little exertion or coordination being required.
