In contrast, the % F of the LED lighting apparatus having improved flicker performance according to the present invention is 40% or less that is equivalent to the % F of fluorescent lamps using a magnetic ballast.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for adjusting a finger depth using a camera and a touch screen having the apparatus. The apparatus includes a light source installed at an edge of a panel to radiate light in parallel to a surface of the panel, a camera that photographs an object and light emitting points of the light source, and a control circuit that establishes a reference line having a predetermined finger depth by joining the light emitting points and limit lines having various finger depths which are remote from the reference line by several pixels corresponding to resolution of the camera. The control circuit determines whether the object approaches the reference line or the limit lines and determines a position of the object to output a display control signal. The apparatus allows a user to select a desired finger depth.
