  • Patent number: 11543224
Abstract: An explosive detonating system comprises connectable components to connect/disconnect a pathway that ignites an explosion. A firing actuator activates primers. An adapter connects the firing actuator to shock tube and channels the ignition force from the primers into the shock tube. A cap box houses blasting caps coupled to the end of the shock tube. A priming well is coupled to the cap box/blasting caps and detonating cord. When the firing actuator is initiated, the percussion caps ignite, sending an explosive jet of gas into the shock tube, which ignites an explosive liner. An explosive wave travels through the shock tube and activates the blasting caps, which activate the detonating cord in the priming well. The explosive is placed in a location to provide a desired explosive effect. For example, the system may be employed as a system to breach into structures, remove obstacles and/or barriers, or other applications.

  • Patent number: 11465781
Abstract: A tape drive comprises a roll of a tape that can be extended from a rolled state to an extended state. The tape includes a rigid material that supports the tape and a pliable material disposed at least partially on one side of the tape. A compression roller is disposed on a side of the tape and is biased toward the tape. A drive roller is disposed on the other side of the tape. The drive roller comprises an uneven surface that mechanically engages the pliable material of the tape, without protruding through the tape, as a result of the bias of the compression roller forcing the tape toward the drive roller. A motor turns the drive roller to extend the tape from the roll as the protrusions of the uneven surface of the drive roller mechanically engage the pliable material of the tape as the drive roller turns.

  • Publication number: 20220254211
Abstract: There are disclosed devices, systems and methods for keyless courier entry into a safe using a courier mobile computing device for receiving and authenticating a courier login and a selection for keyless courier entry into the safe. The safe has a computing device for receiving and authenticating a selection for keyless courier entry into the safe. Upon receiving the authenticated selection for keyless entry, the safe computing device generates and displays a factor code based on a safe's serial number. The courier inputs the factor code into the mobile device. In response to receiving and authenticating of the factor code, the mobile computing device generates and displays a security check code. The courier enters the security check code into the safe computing device, which in response to the entry and upon authenticating the security check code, unlocks the safe.

  • Patent number: 11396428
Abstract: A disclosed system for transporting items to destination locations, for example when receiving inventory at large retail locations, includes a conveyor assembly comprising a plurality of docking locations; an item identifier operable to read identification data; an orchestrator operable to, based at least on the identification data, pair items with transporter solutions; and a sorting controller operable to, based at least on the identification data and the pairings, route items to specific docking locations where transporter solutions are docked. Transporter solutions may include autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs) that bid on delivery tasks and can adjust shelf height in order to facilitate loading and unloading. The AGVs can thus provide an effectively seamless conveyor solution—either rollers on the conveyor surface move items or rollers on the underside of the AGV move the AGV with the items.

  • Patent number: 11377923
Abstract: An isolation device can include a packer element that is actuated via a slip system to engage with an inner diameter of a tubing string to set the plug. The isolation device can be a frac plug. Top and bottom slip props of the slip system can be shaped such that the packer element is inhibited or prevented from engaging with an inner mandrel after the plug has been set within a wellbore. The slip props can be self-supporting; thus, the inner mandrel can be removed from the isolation device after setting and can be reused in other downhole tools. The isolation device can be used for zonal isolation to treat a zone of interest within a subterranean formation. The treatment can be a fracturing operation.

  • Patent number: 11378968
Abstract: A disclosed system for transporting items to destination locations, for example when receiving inventory at large retail locations, includes an autonomous ground vehicle (AGV) having at least one shelf; a shelf elevator operable to raise and lower the at least one shelf; a drive unit operable to move the AGV between a docking location and a destination location; the AGV able to position the at least one shelf at a different heights for loading and offloading items first height and a second height different from the first height, autonomously navigate between the docking location and the first destination location, and bid on delivery tasks. Some examples are further able to use a cartridge unit to expand cargo capacity. An AGV could analyze the currently-loaded weight and the remaining available space, and dynamically adjust the heights of the shelves according to the dimensions of the assigned items.

  • Publication number: 20220067653
Abstract: Systems and methods that employ an autonomous robotic vehicle (ARV) alone or in combination with a remote computing device during the installation of electronic shelf labels (ESLs) in a facility are discussed. The ARV may detect pre-existing product information from paper labels located on modular units prior to their removal and then detect the location of electronic shelf labels (ESLs) after installation. Pre-existing product information gleaned from the paper labels is associated with the corresponding ESLs. The ARV may also determine compliance or non-compliance of modular units to which an ESL is affixed with a planogram of the facility.
