    Abstract: A device for fracturing glass along a scoreline is disclosed which is particularly useful for forming glass pieces of irregular shapes, such as those utilized in stained glass artworks. The device has a convexly curved fulcrum element attached to one leg of a "U"-shaped manipulating member, while a pressure block, having a concavely curved planar surface facing the fulcrum element, is attached to an adjacent leg of the manipulating member. A force exerted by the pressure block and the fulcrum element on a scored glass piece located between them causes the glass to fracture along the scoreline. The device also has a glass support surface which supports the glass while being fractured, and collects and retains the minute glass chips generated by the fracturing process.

    Abstract: The invention comprises a device for supporting a piece of glass while cutting same by scoring and subsequently breaking it along the score line. The device includes a plurality of generally vertically oriented intersecting walls having upper and lower edges, the upper edges of the walls being coplanar so as to define a planar supporting surface for the glass piece and a generally horizontal base attached to the lower edge of each of the walls such that the walls and base form a plurality of upwardly opening pockets to catch and retain glass chips generated by the scoring and breaking process. A variety of stop devices both adjustable and non-adjustable may be inserted into the pockets to act as straight edges or stops for positioning the glass.

    Abstract: A tool is disclosed which facilitates the breaking of glass along a score line and is particularly useful for forming glass pieces of irregular shapes, such as those utilized in stained glass art works. The tool has a base on which is mounted a convexly curved fulcrum element. The convexly curved surface of the button provides the fulcrum point when it is placed beneath a glass piece having a score line on its upper surface. A second element of the device is a pressure block having a curved lower surface with generally the same radius of curvature as that of the convexly curved fulcrum element. The pressure block is placed on the upper surface of the glass such that its curved surface straddles the score line and, when the operator exerts a downward force, the glass is caused to fracture along this score line. The device is readily manipulated by the operator and greatly facilitates the cutting of narrow elongated strips of glass, or glass having a curved shape.

    Abstract: A sewing machine storage cabinet is disclosed wherein a first portion is attached to a wall and contains a sewing machine attached to a table capable of moving from a vertical folded position, about a horizontal axis, to a horizontal operative position. A second part of the cabinet is attached to the first part and provides a door to cover the table and associated machine when in its folded position. The exterior of the door may be provided with a design to improve its aesthetic quality when in its closed position. The cabinet also contains a sewing basket in which extra needles, thread, bobbins, etc. may be stored.
