  • Publication number: 20180022972
Abstract: This disclosure is directed at specific acrylic PSA compositions that are capable of resisting a broad array of solvents. Acrylic PSA's primarily derived from C?1#191-C?4#191 acrylate monomers and functional acrylates exhibit a strong resistance to a wide array of solvents, including both polar and non-polar solvents.

  • Patent number: 5420742
Abstract: This method produces a tape having a plurality of recorded segments separated by cue tones and having a reduced tendency to generate false cue tones. The method includes applying a layer of a liquid dispersion to a nonmagnetic substrate. The method also includes the steps of orienting the pigment by applying a magnetic field, solidifying the layer of liquid dispersion on the substrate, and applying a demagnetizing field to the layer to neutralize the remanent magnetization.
