  • Publication number: 20230278256
Abstract: A bulkhead system for a concrete casting bed includes a pair of base track members spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal direction and a pair of form walls each removably attached to one of the base track members. Each of the form walls has a lower end abutting one of the base track members and an upper end opposite the lower end in a vertical direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Each of the form walls has a tendon slot extending into the form wall in the vertical direction from at least one of the upper end and the lower end. The tendon slot receives a tendon extending in the longitudinal direction.

  • Publication number: 20120309952
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, kits, and compositions for purifying small RNA molecules. In particular, the present invention provides methods for purifying small RNA molecules from a sample containing both small RNA molecules and larger RNA molecules using a compaction agent and a RNA binding matrix, as well as compositions and kits for practicing such methods. In certain embodiments, the compaction agent comprises a plurality of metal-amine-halide molecules.

  • Patent number: 4377271
Abstract: The invention relates to improvements in collapsible binders and the like, which are self-sustaining in a predetermined configuration when unfolded and extended to sit upon a flat surface, such a binder presenting an elongated central panel flanked by a pair of generally quadrilateral flanking side panels with a rearwardly located collapsible support having an upstanding elongated rear central panel flanked by a first pair of upstanding rear-side panels of substantially right-angled triangular configuration the later side panels terminating along their respective hypotenuses remote from said upstanding rear central panel in a second pair respectively of flanking side panels extending in coplanar relation behind the flanking side panels of said binder, and slidingly fixed thereto; and with all panels being so hingedly connected together that the structure may upon being unfolded extend into its self-sustaining predetermined configuration and may be compactly folded up when collapsed for storage or for carrying

  • Patent number: 4318527
Abstract: The invention relates to improvements in lightweight collapsible support structures in the nature of easels, book rests and the like which are self sustaining in a predetermined fully erected configuration, presenting in the fully erected configuration a multiplicity of forwardly facing panels upstanding in a rearwardly inclined or substantially vertical position to provide support surfaces for the displaying, supporting or anchoring of articles such as pads, books or the like and further presenting forwardly extending ledge portions from the bottom edges of such abutment surfaces, said ledges serving to rigidify and stabilize the erect configuration of these structures against collapse, but so adapted as to be foldable into a position allowing for such structures to be compactly folded up and collapsed for storage or for carrying when not in use.

  • Patent number: 4150181
Abstract: A contact fuser assembly and method for preventing toner offset on a heated fuser member in an electrostatic reproducing apparatus includes a base member coated with a solid, abrasion resistant material such as polyimide, poly (amide-imides), poly (imide-esters), polysulfone and aromatic polyamides. The fuser member is coated with a thin layer of polysiloxane fluid containing low molecular weight fluorocarbon. Toner offset on the heated fuser member is prevented by applying the polysiloxane fluid containing fluorocarbon to the solid, abrasion resistant surface of the fuser member.

  • Patent number: 3990669
Abstract: This invention relates to a light-weight collapsible support structure such as an easel which is self-sustaining in a predetermined configuration when unfolded and extended to sit upon a flat surface and presents three forwardly facing inclined panels, a central inclined panel flanked by two inclined side panels hingedly connected thereto to extend angularly outwardly therebeyond at each side to provide at least three surfaces in side by side relation and forming a partial enclosure, and upon which surfaces material may be mounted or supported, or such structure might also serve as a book support and cover, the three forwardly facing panels being supported rearwardly by an integral upstanding central plane hingedly connected only along its upper edge to the upper edge of the forwardly facing central inclined panel and tied or secured to the two inclined side panels to stabilize the configuration, all four panels being so hingedly connected together that the structure may upon being unfolded extend into its se
