  • Patent number: 10220248
Abstract: The spa rowing adapter is a device for installation within an existing pool or spa that transforms the pool or spa into a rowing machine. The user grips lever arms, pulling on the arms from a seated or standing position in a rowing motion. In contrast to the prior art, the spa rowing adapter uses a resistance cylinder rather than floppy resistance bands or bungee cords. The resistance cylinder provides an adjustable amount of resistance during both the extending and retracting motions. The resistance cylinder changes length in response to a force, with the resistance of the motion set by an internal mechanism. The internal mechanism is adjustable by the user through rotation of a collar.

  • Patent number: 9295893
Abstract: Individual swimmers may routinely and easily perform exercise regiments to maintain or enhance their general health and fitness utilizing the present invention. A pole may be secured adjacent a body of water to retain a tether and a harness which retains the swimmer. The pole mount provides for securement at generally any swimming pool utilizing a hand rail which exists with generally all swimming pools. This provides for the swimming exercise device to be extremely transportable while ensuring use without any structural modification to any existing structure of the swimming pool.

  • Patent number: 8641580
Abstract: Individual swimmers may routinely and easily perform exercise regiments to maintain or enhance their general health and fitness utilizing the present invention. A pole may be secured adjacent a body of water to retain a tether and a harness which retains the swimmer. Numerous pole mounting arrangements provide for deployment of the swimming exercise device with nearly any configuration of swimming pool without regard for whether the pool is of the in ground style or of the above ground style and without regard for size from the smallest available to Olympic size. A small but durable hand rail mount and a water filled anchor which merely sits adjacent the body of water provide for excellent securement of the pole without any structural modification to any existing structure.

  • Patent number: 7846072
Abstract: Individual swimmers may routinely and easily perform exercise regiments to maintain or enhance their general health and fitness utilizing the present invention. Multiple part poles may be readily shipped, or otherwise transported, in a disassembled state and assembled easily and quickly to full length for use with the overall swimming exercise device. Various configurations of sections and connections are disclosed. Ideally a taper will exist where the deployed multiple part pole will flex more toward an outer end of the multiple part pole.

  • Patent number: 7563206
Abstract: Individual swimmers may routinely and easily perform exercise regiments to maintain or enhance their general health and fitness utilizing the present invention. Segmented poles may be readily shipped, or otherwise transported, in a disassembled state and assembled easily and quickly to full length for use with the overall swimming exercise device. Numerous pole mounting arrangements provide for deployment of the swimming exercise device with nearly any configuration of swimming pool without regard for whether the pool is of the in ground style or of the above ground style and without regard for size from the smallest available to Olympic size. A small but durable hand rail mount provides for the swimmer to perform their respective workout when traveling or otherwise visiting another pool without requiring any structural modification to the pool to be used and without any concern for damage occurring to the pool to be used.
