  • Publication number: 20240071207
Abstract: Techniques for transmitting data include one or more processors of a computing device included in a network device identifying data to be transmitted; and while a data session window is open: transmitting, using a transmitter of the network device, the data to a transceiver that is included in the network device and is separate from the one or more processors, wherein the transceiver is configured to transmit the data outside of the network device; and in response to determining that there is no additional data to be transmitted, (a) delaying for a period of time, and (b) after the period of time, instructing the transceiver to end the data session window early and transition to a lower power state.

  • Publication number: 20220253524
Abstract: A behavioral monitor executing in user space generates a plurality of filters corresponding to a plurality of processes executing in the user space. A first process transmits a system call to a corresponding filter of the plurality of filters in kernel space. The first process receives a signal from the corresponding filter. The first process analyzes the arguments submitted in the system call. The first process determines that the arguments may be associated with malicious activity. The first process generates an event and transmitting the event to the behavioral monitor. The behavioral monitor analyzes the event to determine whether the event is associated with malicious activity. The behavioral monitor causes a process group associated with the first process to cease executing and restores a previous version of the at least one file modified by the process group.

  • Publication number: 20080006712
Abstract: A closed nozzle fuel injector is provided which effectively controls the fuel injection flow rate, especially during an initial portion of an injection event, while also permitting accurate control over pilot and/or post injection flow rates at all operating conditions thereby advantageously reducing emissions and combustion noise. The injector includes a rate shaping orifice to restrict fuel flow during an initial portion of an injection event and a rate shaping sleeve mounted for movement to cause a greater flow of injection fuel during a later portion of the injection event. A damping chamber and orifice are also provided to control movement of the rate shaping sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20050230494
Abstract: A flow control valve for controlling the flow of fuel in a fuel system including a housing with a fuel passage, a valve device movable to close the fuel passage to block fuel flow through the fuel passage, and to open the fuel passage to permit fuel flow through the fuel passage, a valve plunger engaging the valve device, an actuator for reciprocally moving the valve plunger, an armature overtravel feature for permitting continued movement of the armature relative to the valve plunger from an engaged position into a disengaged position when the valve plunger reaches the extended position, and an armature stop for stopping overtravel of the armature.

  • Publication number: 20050197975
Abstract: A system for combined mailing of a plurality of diverse publications to a plurality of recipients at an optimized mail rate. The system includes a bindery for binding a plurality of the signatures where the bindery binding the plurality of signatures creates a plurality of first publications and a plurality of second publications. Each of the plurality of first and second publications are in a unique order, where the unique order identifies each of the plurality of first publications and each of the plurality of second publications with each of the plurality of recipients. A co-mailer is part of the system for combining the plurality of first publications with the plurality of second publications to form a plurality of diverse publications. The co-mailer merges the plurality of first and second publications in the unique order to send the plurality of diverse publications to the plurality of recipients at the optimized mail rate.

  • Publication number: 20050160078
Abstract: The present invention provides a way to efficiently validate and process requests, such as deletion requests, that affect items having associated objects in a content management system. When the request is received, a timestamp for the item is retrieved. A timestamp for any objects affected by the request are then retrieved and checked against the timestamp for the item. The request is then completed on the item and objects based on the respective timestamps for the item and the objects.

  • Publication number: 20050070197
Abstract: The flyable ball has a unitary spherically shaped body made from a resilient material, with the body having a center axis and a transverse center axis. The body further includes a radially outward extending ring or rim projecting from the body and located below the transverse center axis for supplying centrifugal stabilization to the body when the ball is thrown into the air with a spin.
