  • Publication number: 20070203450
Abstract: A device for feeding a young child without the threat of choking, this device comprising a handle member in combination with an elongate food-receiving mesh container having an aperture in one end thereof. A ring component too large to swallow is mounted in the aperture. One end of the handle member has a circularly disposed sealing surface, and having a securing member around its adjacent exterior surface. A closure ring having a securing member around its interior surface is able to interfit with the securing member of the handle end. The closure ring has a central aperture of a size to closely receive the container, but not permitting the passage of the ring component. When the closure ring has been tightened upon the handle end, the ring component will tightly engage the circularly disposed sealing surface on the handle, holding the container in an operative position.

  • Publication number: 20060010634
Abstract: A sponge and a scouring pad in which an outer surface layer can be peeled away to expose a clean surface when the outer surface of the sponge or scouring pad becomes soiled. A method of obtaining a clean surface on a sponge or scouring pad is also disclosed, wherein a predetermined thickness of the material of the sponge or pad is grasped and peeled away to expose a clean surface.

  • Patent number: 4448471
Abstract: A cover assembly formed by a pair of mating cover members interengage with the housing of an electrical connector and with each other to provide polarization/keying and latching for the connector as well as strain relief for the conductors leading from the connector. The covers together define conductor exiting which can be normal to or parallel to the mating face of the connector or any combination of exiting. The strain relief is provided by a known cable or bundle tie encircling the conductors and passing through belt loop extensions on one of the covers.

  • Patent number: 4435035
Abstract: A connector assembly is disclosed for effecting mass insulation displacing termination of a plurality of conductors into a like plurality of terminals which are pre-loaded into a housing in a single aligned row. The subject connector assembly includes a housing having a plurality of terminal passages therein opening, in a forward direction, onto a mating face normal to the axes of the passages and, in a rearward direction, opening outwardly toward one side of the housing. A terminal is mounted in each passageway with a matable portion directed toward the mating face and an insulation displacing, conductor engaging portion lying in the outwardly open rear portion. The subject connector assembly also has a cover with one end edge engageable with the housing at the outward opening of the passageways and the other end enclosing the rear of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4380361
Abstract: A cover kit is disclosed for use in enclosing an open portion of a housing for a known electrical connector. The cover kit includes a first cover member one end of which engages one side of an elongated connector housing with the other end extending across the rear edge of the housing and a second mating cover member selected from a group of cover members each having distinguishing features. The second cover members each have a first end which engages the opposite side of the connector housing and a second end which engages the other end of the first cover member to securely enclose the connector housing. The second cover members provide keying, polarization, profile alteration, and latching for the connector.
