  • Patent number: 6487808
Abstract: The present invention is a combination spent shell deflector and catcher, and breech block latch actuator, or receiver closer for semi-automatic firearms. The combination comprises a generally planar frame for attachment in vertical orientation to the side of the gun's receiver, and generally parallel therewith, in the area of the ejector port. The planar frame of the invention has an upper section extending back from the front of the frame which supports a resilient plug near the upper edge of the ejection port. Also, the planar frame has a lower section extending back from the front of the frame supporting a pivotal connection for a breach block latch actuator. The latch actuator is a moveable, generally flat panel which fits within the front part of the lower section of the planar frame. Also, the lower section of the planar frame supports a removable connection for a spent shell catcher.

  • Patent number: 5605002
Abstract: A firearm breech block actuator for operating the latch of a spring-pressed, latch-controlled firearm breech block having a push button latch control positioned for pressing by the fingers of the marksman preliminary to firing the firearm. The actuator comprises an arm overlying the push button in bearing engagement therewith and having an outer surface sufficiently large to accommodate a plurality of the marksman's fingers. The arm is mounted on the firearm for reciprocating movement toward and away from the push button. This operates the breech block latch. The actuator preferably is constructed of an integral piece of resilient plastic or metal attached by screws to the receiver of the firearm.

  • Patent number: 5031348
Abstract: A shoulder gun stock assembly has a comb piece coordinated with a shoulder piece and an associated recoil assembly. The comb piece and shoulder piece remain stationary during shooting while the recoil assembly absorbs the recoil. The comb piece provides a stationary cheek rest which eliminates the cheek-chafing action usually associated with the operation of shoulder firearms.
