Abstract: A method of diagnosing, quantifying, treating, monitoring or evaluating a condition in a subject is provided. The method comprises obtaining a sample from the subject, detecting and determining the presence or quantity of one or more than one human papilloma virus (HPV) in the sample, wherein the presence or quantity of the one or more than one HPV is indicative of the presence of the condition in the subject or an increased likelihood of the subject for developing the condition when compared to a control. The condition may comprise autoimmune disorders, chronic neurodegenerative diseases, neurodevelopmental disorder, neoplasm, blood cancers such as lymphoma or leukemia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia.
