    Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting and displaying a number of rounds in a firearm magazine comprising a maximum number of N rounds. The magazine may comprise a follower, magnets on the follower, and <N magnetic switches arranged along a path of the magnets when the follower moves along a length of the magazine, the switches configured to activate based on a magnetic field exceeding a threshold, and a first antenna arranged on an inside of the magazine and parallel to a firing direction of the firearm, and configured to wirelessly transmit a round count indication to a second antenna on the firearm, the round count indication based on the round count data, the second antenna affixed to an inside of a magazine well of the firearm and mostly overlapping with the first antenna.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the invention, systems and methods are provided for manufacturing a tubular container with a seal and release mechanism. Specifically, in accordance with one embodiment, a method for manufacturing a tubular container is provided, comprising: creating a tube having a first end and a second end, wherein the first and second ends are open; sealing the first end of the tube; scoring the tube at a predetermined location such that the tube at the predetermined position is made easier to break relative to other locations along the tube; loading the tube into a collection unit such that the second end is positioned for filling; filling the tube with a predetermined amount of a selected liquid; and filling the tube with a liquid blocker after filling the selected liquid, wherein the liquid blocker inhibits the flow of the selected liquid and seals the selected liquid inside the tube.

    Abstract: A spinal plate is provided that has two components of curvature in the lower surface that opposes the spinal vertebrae. This lower surface preferrably has the shape of a toroidal segment. A series of plates may be taken from a principal "s"-shaped template of similar shape on its lower surface. For convenience of manufacture, the shape of the curvature of the "S"-shaped template along the sides of the template is circular. A special hole pattern is also disclosed in respect of a tapered thoracic portion of the template.
