  • Publication number: 20180215027
Abstract: A multi-tool system for a skateboard, said tool system being comprised of two components that are substantially the same size as common house keys. The first key-shaped component of the tool system includes various tool elements, including a Philips head screwdriver, hexagonal key (Allen wrench) and a file surface. The second key-shaped component of the tool system includes two wrenches of different sizes. The tools elements are of sizes corresponding to common skateboard parts. The key-shaped components further include a key ring hole.

  • Publication number: 20070286022
Abstract: A seismic spread has a plurality of seismic stations positioned over a terrain of interest and a controller programmed to automate the data acquisition activity. In one embodiment, the controller forms a queue of sources that are ready to fire and initiating the firing of the sources according to a preset protocol. The sensor stations each include power management circuitry that may shift or adjust the power level of the sensor station during the data acquisition activity. During operation, the controller broadcasts data that the power management circuitry of each sensor station uses to determine the appropriate energy state for that sensor station. This determination may be made using the broadcast data alone or in conjunction with other data such as a GPS-determined position of the sensor station. Thus, in one aspect, each sensor station self-selects an energy state according to the broadcast status of the data acquisition activity.

  • Patent number: 6609498
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the switching states of a target wheel used in an internal combustion engine, the method including providing a camshaft, providing a target wheel having teeth coupled to the camshaft, providing a sensor to detect the teeth of the target wheel, providing a cam phaser to phase the camshaft relative to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine, homing the cam phaser to a known position relative to the crankshaft, rotating the crankshaft and camshaft, detecting the switching of the teeth by the sensor, referencing switching information detected by the teeth to crankshaft position information to produce a calibration for the target wheel, and storing the calibration in a controller to be use for control of the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 4121580
Abstract: There is disclosed a squeeze bag resuscitating device having an inhalation-exhalation valve with a gas supply to the squeeze bag that includes a proportionating valve which receives separate supplies of air and oxygen and which has a fixedly adjustable proportionating control member whereby the proportons of oxygen in the gas mixture can be fixedly adjusted to any of a plurality of preselected values. In a preferred embodiment, the proportionating valve is detachably mounted on the resuscitating device and can be interchanged with a demand valve such as that described in my prior U.S. Pat. No. 3,795,257.

  • Patent number: 3949966
Abstract: There is disclosed a fluid flow control valve that provides a plurality of selectable, constant flow rates and that is ideally suited for use with oxygen breathing devices to supply a flow of oxygen to persons in respiratory distress. The valve is simple in construction and designed for minimum size and bulk while insuring accuracy of flow rates. The valve is provided with positive detent indication of the preselected fluid flow rate and can be used in any position on a supporting surface or on the regulator valve of the oxygen supply system. The valve comprises a valve body having a central cavity with a carriage plate received and rotatably supported therein. A first external port communicates with a fluid passageway that extends internally of the body and communicates with a pair of internal ports which are open to the cavity at spaced-apart locations. The carriage plate carries a plurality of orifice members which are of preselected, different orifice sizes and which extend through the carriage plate.
