  • Publication number: 20240089524
Abstract: A system is provided that determines a media item for an insertion in a first media feed of a first channel based on a pre-encoded media content, metadata related to the pre-encoded media content, and audience-based parameters. The audience-based parameters comprise demographics data, targeted audience data, device type data, and trending information that includes media items based on current trend in a social network platform. Each media segment of the pre-encoded media content corresponds to a different quality level and content encryption mode. A second channel is generated from the first channel based on the audience-based parameters, the media item inserted in the first media feed, and a second programming schedule. The second programming schedule corresponds to a modified first programming schedule based on the audience-based parameters. Based on at least the media item, the second media feed of the second channel is generated for distribution to a consumer device.

  • Publication number: 20240073467
Abstract: A system is provided that determines a media item for an insertion in a first media feed of a first channel based on at least a pre-encoded media content, metadata related to the pre-encoded media content, and audience-based parameters. The audience-based parameters include content recognition-based information that corresponds to a live feed of one of a plurality of channels. Each of a plurality of media segments of the pre-encoded media content corresponds to a different quality level and content encryption mode. Based on the audience-based parameters, the media item inserted in the first media feed, and a second programming schedule, a second channel is generated from the first channel. The second programming schedule corresponds to a modified first programming schedule based on the content recognition-based information. Based on at least the media item, a second media feed of the second channel is generated for distribution to a consumer device.

  • Publication number: 20230282467
Abstract: Provided herein are methods and systems directed to stable, isotopically labeled internal calibrators for use in mass spectrometry analysis for quantifying a target analyte in a sample. The present disclosure relates more particularly to mass spectrometry analysis where a single sample includes at least three isotopically labeled internal calibrators and the target analyte. The methods and systems described herein allows accommodation of isotope interferences arising from the use of isotopically labeled internal calibrators in quantification a target analyte. As a result, smaller quantities (e.g., lesser concentration) of isotopically labeled internal calibrators are utilized in the present technology in the generation of a calibration curve to quantify a target analyte.

  • Publication number: 20220262145
Abstract: Techniques relate to object classifications using bootstrapping of region-level annotations. For each of multiple images, regions within the image can be identified. For each region, a region-specific label can be identified, a set of objects within the region can be detected, and an object-specific label can be assigned to each object. The object-specific label can be the same as the region-specific label assigned to the region within which the object is located. A training data set can be defined to include, for each image of the multiple images, object-location data (indicating intra-image location data for the detected object) and label data (indicating the object-specific labels assigned to the objects). An image-processing model can be trained using the training data. Training can include learning values for a set of parameters that define calculations performed by the image-processing model.

  • Patent number: 10847271
Abstract: A nuclear fuel includes uranium(IV) oxide (UO2) and manganese (Mn) as a dopant. The Mn dopant may be present in the fuel in an amount up to the solubility limit for Mn under a given set of conditions, for example, about 0.01 wt % to about 1 wt %. The nuclear fuel is substantially free of aluminum (Al). The nuclear fuel exhibits enhanced grain size development during sintering temperatures as low at 1400 K due to an increase in uranium sub-lattice vacancies induced by dissolution of the Mn dopant at interstitial defect sites. The Mn-doped nuclear fuel exhibits improved grain sizes at lower temperatures compared to Cr-, Al-, and undoped UO2, and therefore desirably exhibits lower fission gas release and higher plasticity, reducing the chances of fuel rod failure.

  • Patent number: 9845717
Abstract: A method for an exhaust system is provided, comprising adjusting reductant injection responsive to a reductant concentration, the reductant concentration based on concentration sensor readings and vehicle motion. If the reductant freezes, the reductant may stratify, leading to inaccurate concentration sensor readings. Vehicle motion may mix the reductant, thereby ensuring an accurate concentration measurement which may then be used to adjust reductant injection.

  • Patent number: 9364884
Abstract: Provided is a die trim section with a recess adapted to retain slugs in a stamping process. The recess may be added to existing die inserts via wire EDM, conventional surface grinding or other suitable methods. The lateral depth of the recess in the trim section is approximately equal to the cutting clearance of a die trim or blank insert. The recess is preferably tapered inward toward the die opening, wherein the upper portion is at the die level and the bottom portion is within the die trim insert interior. The recess creates a small tab on a slug that is wedged into the trim section, preventing the slug from being pulled upwards when the punch is withdrawn. Configurations of the recess vary depending upon slug size and material thickness, cutting clearance, dimensions of the trim section, and dimensions and configuration of the finished product.
