  • Patent number: 5643284
Abstract: A snug fitting two-piece tagging system which employs a low-grade spring function therein. The present invention provides a piercing stud coupled to a domed shaped member. The compressible domed shaped member may have an outer surface which is domed away from the piercing stud and is concavely rounded on the inner surface from which the stud emanates. Further, the compressible domed shaped piercing stud may be formed from a flexible material. In this configuration, the compressible domed shape piercing stud functions as a low-grade spring which may be slightly compressed upon installation. That is, the piercing stud base may be snug against the tagged material around the contacting perimeter, leaving no gap to snag a foreign object.Another embodiment of the present invention allows for interruption of contact around the contacting perimeter of the compressible domed shaped member to prevent the entrapment of moisture or the like in and around the compressible domed shaped member.

  • Patent number: 4972665
Abstract: Removable paddles are disclosed for use on a grain auger to assist material flow when changing direction of flow from parallel to the auger's longitudinal axis to a flow path at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the auger. The device provides a mounting attachment at the base of the paddle unit using bolts through the auger tubing. The base of the paddle unit extends nearly perpendicular to the paddle-shaped member oriented lengthwise with the auger's longitudinal axis. Auger rotation thereby positively ejects transported material on contact with each revolution of the auger. Each paddle exhibits an "L" shaped cross section and the area, shape and angular orientation of the paddle blade is determined by the material requirements upon the auger tubing. Methods of paddle unit manufacture are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4775124
Abstract: A bent wire soapholder for storing bar soap to allow for draining is disclosed. The soap holder provides minimal contact area with the soap bar, allows mechanical drainage of contact area and provides minimal contiguous surface area below the soap bar supports. The device provides base and soap bar supporting rods which extend forwardly, inwardly and downwardly from rear side of holder to the front. Each supporting member provides a pre-determined length of support surface and a lower V shaped point of drainage. Numerous attachments and base structures are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4497131
Abstract: A bait dispenser for selectively dispensing poisonous bait to rodents and the like while preventing access to domestic livestock, pets and desirable wildlife consisting of a centrally located anchoring spike with a lower bait pan, a central spacer, and an upper cover pan overlying the bait pan in such a manner that access to the bait pan is specifically limited.
