  • Publication number: 20170046627
Abstract: A system and method for automatically identifying online entities using machine learning techniques are provided. Entity profile data of a first set of entities is used to train a statistical model and entity profile data of a second set of entities is used, in conjunction with the statistical model, to identify a subset of the second set of entities. Certain electronic content is then transmitted over a computer network to entities in the subset through one or more content delivery channels.

  • Publication number: 20160267527
Abstract: A method and system for dynamically re-allocating resources among multiple electronic content delivery channels is provided. The resources may be dedicated for a content targeting campaign that aims to persuade online users to perform a certain action. The content delivery channels provide targeted content to the online users based on the resources that are allocated to the channels. An effectiveness of each content delivery channel is measured. The measures of effectiveness may be used to determine whether and/or how much to a current allocation should be modified. Additionally, one or more rules that govern how to re-allocate resources may be enforced. For example, a rule may be that if a content delivery channel is not utilizing its allocation on a daily basis, then at least a portion of the unused portion is reallocated to another content delivery channel.

  • Publication number: 20160267545
Abstract: A system and method for automatically targeting online users are provided. A user performs an action that exhibits an interest in a product/service or performing a certain action, such as making a charitable contribution. A user record is created in a user management system, such as a customer relationship management database. The user record is augmented with additional data, such as data from a user profile, of the user, in a social network. Examples of such data include employer information, friend information, academic history, and job title. The augmented user record is provided to a targeted content system that assigns the user to a nurture flow that includes multiple segments, each segment associated with actions to perform relative to the user, such as sending certain content to the user through one or more delivery channels.
