Patent number: 11048823Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method of obtaining data in a system in which share volumes of the data are dispersed across a communication network. A first computer requesting the data forwards the request to a second computer. The second computer determines if another computer has reassembled the data, and if so, responds to the first computer that the request cannot be granted. Otherwise, the second computer enables the first computer to access personal information associated only with a user of the first computer that authorizes the user to access the data. The personal information is used to determine reassembly information necessary to reassemble the data. The reassembly information is used to reassemble the data. The personal information may then be destroyed. The reassembled data is dispersed across the communication network. New personal information is created for the user.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2017Date of Patent: June 29, 2021Assignee: BITSPRAY CORPORATIONInventors: Walter H. Runkis, Donald E. Martin, Jeffrey J. Bromberger, Peter A. Scott

Patent number: 9245148Abstract: A system and method for securely obfuscating, storing, and transmitting digital information includes a computing device configured to parse at least a portion of one or more bit streams to form a plurality of first datasets. The computing device is configured to disperse the plurality of first datasets into multiple data blocks to form t volumes as part of a plurality of second bit streams such that m number of volumes contain a complete data set, wherein m<t. The computing device is also configured to output the t volumes to a plurality of local or distributed storage locations, such that no complete dataset is stored at a single storage location.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2014Date of Patent: January 26, 2016Assignee: BitSpray CorporationInventors: Walter H. Runkis, Donald E. Martin, Christoper D. Watkins

Patent number: 4681215Abstract: A conveyor roller and bearing arrangement rotatable about a pair of fixed stub axles lying between spaced side frame members includes a pair of self-aligning bearing assemblies in each end of the roller. Each bearing assembly includes an inner bearing race mounted on one of the stub axles, an outer bearing race rotatably mounted on the inner bearing race and an outer cushioning sleeve secured to the roller and outer bearing race for maintaining axial alignment between the inner and outer bearing races. A roller support assembly is positioned between the frame members to provide external support for the roller and cooperate with the bearing assemblies and stub axles to reduce the bending influence of the roller under loads.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1985Date of Patent: July 21, 1987Assignee: Rexnord Inc.Inventor: Donald E. Martin

Patent number: 4664243Abstract: A conveyor roller and bearing assembly designed to rotate around a fixed shaft in a conveyor frame is disclosed having a polymeric roller constructed and arranged to minimize the generation of production noise and static electricity, a polymeric spherical bearing capable of freely rotating within a shaft subjected to more than the normal degree of deflectional rotation while generating a minimum of friction and heat, and a spring loaded shaft designed for easy installation in a conveyor frame.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 1985Date of Patent: May 12, 1987Assignee: Rexnord Inc.Inventor: Donald E. Martin

Patent number: 4601412Abstract: A polymeric grease gun comprising a tubular body of polymeric material which defines a chamber for containing grease, a forward end cap having a grease pump, pump lever and a nozzle, a polymeric rear end cap, and a plunger for urging grease forward into the chamber, where the end caps are secured to the tubular body by means of lugs at each end of the tube which engage blind-ended arcuate slots in the leading edge of the end caps so that the caps are retained on the body against an internal axial force which tends to separate the caps from the body. The caps are also secured on the tubular body by means of springing members extending from the ends of the tubular body which engage corresponding portions of the end caps so that the springing members are resiliently held against the interior of the caps.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 1983Date of Patent: July 22, 1986Assignee: Rexnord Inc.Inventor: Donald E. Martin
