    Abstract: An improved method for dispersing an additive into a thermoplastic resin comprising: (1) thoroughly mixing an aqueous solution of said additive with said thermoplastic resin; (2) applying both sufficient heat and shear to rapidly volatilize said aqueous solvent and to form a molten flux of said thermoplastic resin and said additive; and (3) recovering said thermoplastic resin with said additive dispersed therein.
