Abstract: A trash bag support structure has an annular member for supporting the trash bag in open condition and a resilient annular clamp hoop arranged to surround the annular member circumferentially. A marginal portion of the trash bag is interposed between the annular member and the resilient annular clamp hoop, and a tension latch arrangement applies a circumferential tension force to the resilient annular clamp, thereby urging same against the trash bag and the annular member. The tension latch arrangement is provided with a resilient latching element and is disposed in the vicinity of a fixation point where a support arrangement is coupled to the annular member and the resilient annular clamp.
