  • Publication number: 20210138330
Abstract: An illustrated front view of an exemplary shooting guide device for training a player proper finger and guide hand positioning while shooting a basketball. The shooting guide device is useful for encouraging and training a player to properly position the player's guide hand and fingers when shooting a basketball. The shooting guide device provides a training device to increase control and improve accuracy, which results in more baskets and fewer errant shots. • Patent number: 8651016
Abstract: The unitized vacuum fryer is capable of low atmosphere vacuum cooking and has an elongate cooking tunnel having an upper portion separable from a base portion for cleaning and maintenance. When hermetically sealed together the two portions function to retain a high vacuum for an enclosed fry cooking system. Hermetic sealing locks at each end of the tunnel afford product entry and exit. The vacuum fryer does not require a separate enclosing pressure vessel.

  • Patent number: 8385036
Abstract: An electronic system is disclosed, which includes a connector unit to communicate data with a host system, an electronic circuit to store the data, and a switch to convey the data to and from the electronic circuit via the connector unit. The switch includes a negative voltage protection unit coupled to the connector unit, and a transistor switch coupled to the negative voltage protection unit, the connector unit, and the electronic circuit. The negative voltage protection unit forces the transistor switch off if a negative voltage is detected.

  • Patent number: 7482853
Abstract: A MOSFET-based, multi signal-switching circuit controllably passes analog/audio signals and digital signals through a common terminal to a single connector. Analog/audio signals are coupled through a single N-channel MOSFET analog signal switch which, when turned-ON, minimizes distortion of the analog/audio signal and capacitive loading to an adjacent, MOS-based or CMOS-based digital data signal switch. A respective turn-OFF circuit maintains its associated switch MOSFET turned OFF.

  • Patent number: 7275306
Abstract: An improved damascene method of forming a write coil of a magnetic head. The method includes the steps of forming a hard mask layer over an insulator layer; forming a photoresist layer over the hard mask layer; performing an image patterning process to produce a write coil pattern in the photoresist layer; etching to remove portions of the hard mask layer in accordance with the write coil pattern; etching to remove portions of the insulator layer in accordance with the write coil pattern; etching to remove the remaining portion of the etched hard mask layer; after removing the etched hard mask layer, electroplating a material within the etched portion of the insulator material; and performing a chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP) process over the electroplated material. By removing the remainder of the hard mask material before the CMP, the quality of the CMP is improved.

  • Patent number: 6446948
Abstract: A flat vacuum chuck for restraining semiconductor wafer substrates and the like during processing applies a vacuum through holes in the chuck in a timed sequence. The localized areas of the wafer adjacent to each of the holes adhere to the chuck in a pattern that is controlled in such a way so as to minimize any residual gaps therebetween. In one application, the vacuum sequencing pattern is analogous to smoothing a curled sheet of paper on a flat surface with both hands by starting at or near the center of the sheet and moving both hands outward along the surface until the sheet is flat. The vacuum may be applied to substrates to overcome all types of distortions, including symmetrical, asymmetrical, and multi-plane distortions, depending upon the orientation of the net internal stresses resulting from the layers deposited on the wafer. The sequenced application of the vacuum through the chuck holes can be timed by installing a solenoid valve on each of the vacuum tubes connected to the ports.

  • Patent number: 6440497
Abstract: This invention relates to a Printed Audio Layer For Packaging, Sporting Equipment and Toys. As the result of this textured grooved printing process audible sound files, can be recorded then printed out through the use of printed ink compounds. The printed grooves can be played back by movement from a fingernail or tool moved perpendicular to the grooved surface to form reproducible voice recordings. During the printing of folding cartons several applications of ink based products are used each having it's own color or function. In this application, the Printed Audio Layer is applied as a functional layer with clear or tinted compounds as a final step during its printing and before the cutout stamping and stacking operation is performed.

  • Patent number: 5903409
Abstract: By matching raised hard contact areas on predetermined locations of the actuator/arm/suspension assembly opposite counterpart dedicated tracks or zones, then data track damage can be avoided, otherwise resulting from shock imposed on a disk drive when the disk drive is nonoperational. Such placement permits tradeoffs among the length and power of the error correction code, and the disk area reserved to dedicated tracks or zones.

  • Patent number: 5790344
Abstract: A base casting/cover for a magnetic storage system to minimize the impact of shocks and vibrations to the magnetic storage system. The base casting/cover of the present invention is weakened in the area to which the disk pack spindle shaft is attached, such that the pack bounce frequency and the spindle tilt frequency are separated by 20 Hz or more. The base casting/cover of the present invention is weakened by slits thereon in various configurations about the spindle shaft attachment area. The base casting/cover of the present invention further provides damping of the pack bounce frequency by covering the slits with an adhesive material.
