    Abstract: The present invention discloses a protective instrument cover broadly comprising a continuous wall and having a closed distal end and an open proximal end. A sealing means is operatively attached to said continuous wall. In one embodiment, the continuous wall includes a reservoir that fits over a protruding knob to both cover the knob and allow hand operation of the knob. The present invention also comprises a combination of an instrument and a protective cover.
