  • Publication number: 20070245313
Abstract: Failure tagging may be provided. A plurality of tests may be initiated on a program module and output resulting from the plurality of tests may be received. The output resulting from the plurality of tests may be determined to comprise at least one failure. The at least one failure may comprise an unknown failure or a known failure. Results of the plurality of tests indicating the failure may be transmitted. In addition, a request to stop one or more of a plurality of computers on a failure may be received when one of the plurality of computers encounters the failure. In addition, the program module may be transmitted to the plurality of computers configured to run tests on the program module. The one of the plurality of computers may be stopped on the failure when the one of the plurality of computers encounters the failure identified by the request.

  • Patent number: 4342666
Abstract: A method for enhancing the activity of a trilithium phosphate catalyst, useful for isomerizing alkylene oxides to the corresponding alcohols, in which dry catalyst is contacted with an aqueous solution containing a mineral acid such as phosphoric acid, and the acid-treated catalyst is thereafter separated from the aqueous solution, preferably water-washed, and then dried. The amount of acid in the aqueous solution is adjusted so that the pH of the solution in contact with the catalyst is maintained at a value of between 9 to 11.

  • Patent number: 4198853
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for evaluating the porosity of a sheet material at a given value of gas flow or pressure drop (PD), with account being taken of the following relationship between the parameters of flow and PD:Flow=A (PD).sup.N,in which one of the parameters is set at a number (e.g. 3) of values close to the said required value, the other parameter is measured at each, the values of A and N for the sample under test are calculated therefrom, and then the precise gas flow (or PD) at the given PD (or gas flow), and hence the porosity, is calculated from the said relationship. The automatic setting, and the calculations, are effected by means of a microprocessor.

  • Patent number: 4034023
Abstract: Preparing mixed phosphate ester compositions consisting essentially of 10% to 19% tributyl phosphate, 62% to 80% dibutyl phenyl phosphate, and 10% to 19% butyl diphenyl phosphate which comprises forming a first reaction product by reacting phosphorus oxychloride with phenol in a molar ratio of 1:0.8 to 1.0 until less than 1% unreacted phenol is present in the reaction mixture, reacting the first reaction product with excess n-butanol at a temperature below 35.degree. C to prepare a crude mixed phosphate ester composition comprising tributyl phosphate, dibutyl phenyl phosphate and butyl diphenyl phosphate, and purifying the crude composition leaving a substantially pure mixed phosphate ester composition.
