  • Patent number: 9572257
Abstract: A printed circuit board (PCB) includes a stack of core layers disposed one over another, and electrically conductive interconnects extending vertically in the stack. Each of the core layers includes a substrate having opposite major surfaces, an electrically conductive active trace extending along at least one of the major surfaces, and an indicium. The stack also has an exposed edge where the indicia of the layers are together revealed. The indicia provide identifying and/or fiducial information about the PCB.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 31, 2014
Date of Patent: February 14, 2017
    Assignee: Keysight Technologies, Inc.
Inventors: Brian Wade Carlson, William Hollender, Donald Ingram

  • Patent number: 8555541
Abstract: A removable butt stock with a curved and rounded butt plate for use in the tactical fighting position is disclosed. The removable butt stock has a single orientation two position release lever for ease of adjustment and removable of the butt stock from the buffer tube of the tactical weapon, ribs incorporated into the receiver bore to reduce drag during insertion of the buffer tube, and anti-rattle springs to securely attach the butt stock to the buffer tube. The body of the butt stock has an angled cheek weld to allow the user to comfortably align the eye on the weapon in the tactical firing position. The butt stock also includes two storage tubes with cam caps designed to be easily removable by twisting in a cam motion up the beveled mouth of the storage tube.

  • Patent number: 7969297
Abstract: Light sources are affixed at appropriate positions in a multilevel structure or in an obstructed environment. The light sources generate modulated light signals, such as controlled light-emitting diodes, which identify the positions of the light sources by their three-dimensional global positioning coordinates and/or equivalent representation that specifies their in situ locations in the environment. Mobile communication devices, upon receiving the light signals, can derive spatial positioning information and transmit such information to a remote location, such as an emergency response system.

  • Publication number: 20100016022
Abstract: A femtocell base station is configured to transmit site-specific services data to in-range wireless devices, using a common broadcast channel. The site-specific services data identifies available services including, but not limited to, alternate radio signals available in the vicinity, such as FM radio signals, wireless local-area network (WLAN) signals, and the like; location-related services, including the availability of location beacon signals and/or location assistance data for use in position determination using assisted-GPS technology; and physical resources available to the device user, such as printers, copy machines, vending services, and the like. An exemplary mobile station is configured to extract site-specific services data from the femtocell base station signal, and to access a second radio signal using the site-specific services data.

  • Patent number: 7153882
Abstract: The present invention provides compounds and methods of administering compounds to a subject that can reduce ?APP production and that is not toxic in a wide range of dosages. The present invention also provides non-carbamate compounds and methods of administering such compounds to a subject that can reduce ?APP production and that is not tocix in a wide range of dosages. It has been discovered that either the racemic or enantiomerically pure non-carbamate compounds can be used to decrease ?APP production.
