  • Publication number: 20160128525
Abstract: An improved convertible toilet seat includes ferromagnetic components to adhere detachably a rotatably attached child seat section to a posterior section, creating a more secure and comfortable seating surface for a child, and to enhance the adhesion of a child seat section to an anterior section when a toilet seat s raised to a vertical position. The introduction of a finger notch in the anterior section serves to make it easier for a child to lift a child seat section into position for use by a child where a partial vacuum may otherwise be created when an anterior section receives a child seat section.

  • Patent number: 5437641
Abstract: A retrieval system for a range animal injection apparatus is described. The retrieval system includes a valve positioned between a syringe and a needle. In an open position there is a free flow of liquids from a syringe to the needle. In the closed position flow is precluded. A contact member is movable axially in relation to the needle between a first end and a second end. A rigid coupling couples the movement of the contact member and a valve member. The valve is in a closed position when the contact member is positioned adjacent the second end of the needle. The valve is in an open position when the contact member is positioned adjacent the first end of the needle. When the second end of the needle enters a hide of an animal the contact member is pushed toward the first end of the needle by the hide of the animal forcing the valve into the open position.

  • Patent number: 4226647
Abstract: High tensile strength, creep and corrosion resistant zirconium alloys containing 7.0-10.0 wt % aluminum, 0-3 wt % in total of one or more elements selected from the group consisting of magnesium, tin, chromium, iron, carbon, silicon, yttrium, niobium, molybdenum and beryllium, the balance zirconium and incidental impurities, are produced by annealing cast alloys at a temperature below about 992.degree. C. for a period of time sufficient to produce alloys having a substantially continuous matrix of the ordered intermetallic compound Zr.sub.3 Al. The alloys may initially be hot worked at temperatures about 1000.degree. C., while in the .beta.Zr-Zr.sub.2 Al two phase region, prior to annealing. Preferred alloys contain 7.5-9.5 wt % aluminum, the balance zirconium and incidental impurities.
