Abstract: A carrier assembly facilitates the carrying (e.g. by a hiker) of a dispenser for materials such as insect repellents. There are two housings that couple together to form a sealed vault for storing the dispenser between uses. There is also a connector section of one housing in the form of a clip for mounting the housing structure on a backpack or belt loop. A sealing sleeve and a locking sleeve cooperate with the vault to achieve quick opening of the housing parts when desired, without compromising sealing between openings of the vault.

Abstract: Wearable devices for dispensing insect repellents, fragrances, and/or other chemicals along the outside of the clothing of a human are disclosed. They are of the type that are clipped onto a belt or the like, and use a powered fan to dispense active. They are configured with fan rotor arrangements to minimize power use while still achieving acceptable air flow rates. These changes permit use of smaller batteries and more compact arrangements for battery positioning. This in turn permits a much more compact and lightweight construction to achieve the desired results. The devices are also provided with a rotatable clip structure to render use of the device more comfortable when the user is seated and to provide greater control over the direction of the dispensing. Further, they are provided with modified lids to facilitate active refill replacement.

Abstract: Devices dispense air treatment chemicals in response to heat generated by a candle. There is a support mounted on the candle that carries a substrate bearing the air treatment chemical. The support holds a heating plate with substrate thereon over the candle, and a chimney in the heating plate (and passage through the substrate) allow heated air to pass through when the candle wax is being combusted. Heat dispersal fins are formed along the chimney. A washer shaped substrate is provided that is made of fiberglass bound with polyvinyl alcohol and bears the air treatment chemical.

Abstract: Disclosed are holders for supporting a burnable substrate such as a mosquito coil. They have an ash tray, a mounting post coupled to the ash tray and moveable between a storage position wherein both an outward part and an inward part of the mounting post are adjacent the ash tray and an erected position where the mounting post is suitable to support the burnable substrate, and a locking bracket linked to the ash tray which is suitable to retain the mounting post in the erected position when that is desired. In some forms multiple such coils and holders are housed in a compact kit.

There may also be a secondary catch between the bottom of the outer skirt and the can, as well as a positive stop along an inner side of the outer skirt.
