  • Patent number: 10029138
Abstract: A personal force-resistance cable exercise device includes a force resistance assembly, elongated flexible cable, and a movable exercise implement. The force resistance assembly comprises a mounting frame, a rotatable assembly shaft carried by the mounting frame, a disk rotor fixedly attached to the assembly shaft, an adjustable friction controller adapted for frictionally engaging the disk rotor, and a one-way cable spool. The one-way cable spool is locked to the assembly shaft upon rotation of the cable spool in a working force-resistance direction, and is freely movable relative to the assembly shaft upon rotation of cable spool in an opposite cable-wind-up direction. The flexible cable is attached to the force resistance assembly, and adapted for winding on and unwinding from the cable spool. The exercise implement is attached to the flexible cable, and adapted for being employed by a user performing an exercise.

  • Patent number: 6986422
Abstract: An index card (10) holding device (12) to be attached to the surface of an object in a very convenient location which can be used to keep notes and record ideas when they are needed. The device allows the outer card being held to be in full view to the user. The outer end caps (18) are closely connected to the middle spacers (16) which are closely connected to the inner flat plate (14) in manner which creates a slot for holding 5 to 20 index cards (10) while allowing the cards to be removed and replaced easily. The thickness of the cards (10) being held creates the holding pressure against the inner flat plate piece (14) and the outer end caps (18). The shape of the middle spacers (16) prevents the cards from sliding out the back of the device. The present invention is attached to a surface by means of pressure sensitive adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20040077469
Abstract: A back slide exercise device for mounting to a vertical surface such as a wall for performing squatting exercises. The back slide exercise device has a slide portion with a smooth surface for slidingly supporting the back of a user performing squat-type exercises. Upper and lower edges of the slide surface are secured to the vertical surface. A user performs squat exercises by leaning against the smooth outer surface of the slide portion with their back and extending their legs to move from a squat position to an upright position and then flexing their legs to move back to a squat position, and repeating this exercise as desired.
