  • Publication number: 20230306515
Abstract: A computer implemented method for managing capital for a primary entity. The method comprising: determining a baseline cash flow forecast for a time frame based on financial data associated with the primary entity for that time frame; determining one or more sub-time frames of the time frame where cash flow is predicted to be in surplus or deficit; and based on the determined sub-time frames, generating by a recommendation engine one or more recommendations to improve capital management for the primary entity.

  • Patent number: 11746050
Abstract: Described are cementitious reagent materials produced from globally abundant inorganic feedstocks. Also described are methods for the manufacture of such cementitious reagent materials and forming the reagent materials as microspheroidal glassy particles. Also described are apparatuses, systems and methods for the thermochemical production of glassy cementitious reagents with spheroidal morphology. The apparatuses, systems and methods makes use of an in-flight melting/quenching technology such that solid particles are flown in suspension, melted in suspension, and then quenched in suspension. The cementitious reagents can be used in concrete to substantially reduce the CO2 emission associated with cement production.

  • Patent number: 11734666
Abstract: In some implementations, a system for providing and managing associations between mobile computing device and physical shopping carts used in retail stores includes a physical shopping cart configured to transport physical goods around a store. The physical shopping cart includes a product detection system that is programmed to detect products that are placed in the physical shopping cart, a wireless transceiver to wirelessly communicate with other devices, and a cart identifier that uniquely identifies the physical shopping cart. The system further includes a mobile computing device that is programmed (i) to obtain the cart identifier for the shopping cart, (ii) to establish an association with the physical shopping cart using the cart identifier, and (iii) once the association between the physical shopping cart and the mobile computing device has been established, to output a user interface that provides a real-time summary of the products in the physical shopping cart.

  • Patent number: 11590410
Abstract: It is suggested to provide a line marking device having a GNSS receiver or prism for a robotic total station. The line marking device further has at least one spray nozzle and a comparator adapted to compare a detected location to a predetermined pattern. The comparator calculates a location and/or a direction error. Further the line marking device has a prompting device for providing steering information to a user. The provided information is the location and/or direction error. The at least one spray nozzle and the GNSS receiver or the prism are in a fixed spatial relation to a connecting element, which is connected or connectable to an unmovable receiving element of a cart.

  • Patent number: 11548258
Abstract: The novel tissue products of the present invention are generally produced by calendering a tissue basesheet using at least one patterned roll. In one embodiment the patterned roll replaces the flat steel roll commonly used in calendering. The elements on the patterned roll provide a means of providing a nip having variable loading that yields a web having a smooth surface without subjecting the web to excessive compression forces and preventing excessive caliper loss. Thus, webs converted according to the present invention have comparable or better surface smoothness compared to webs converted using conventional calendering means and also retain a greater percentage of their caliper and bulk.

  • Patent number: 11498813
Abstract: A vertical lift system includes a cable with a pair of mounting loops positioned at opposite end portions of the cable, a lift bar, and a pair of cable blocks mounted to the lift bar at opposite end portions of the lift bar. The cable is mountable to the lift bar at the pair of cable blocks. A lift block is mounted to the lift bar between the pair of cable blocks. A spreader bar is mountable to the cable. The spreader bar includes an elongated shaft and a pair of cable couplings mounted to elongated shaft at opposite end positions of the elongated shaft. The cable is extendable through the pair of cable blocks on the lift bar and the pair of cable couplings of the spreader bar such that spreader bar is positioned between the lift block and the pair of mounting loops of the cable.
