    Abstract: A removable tray assembly for a vehicle includes a tray, and a mounting assembly having a mounting bracket which is removably supportable on a vehicle and a single-slide releasable locking mechanism which slideably supports and releasably locks the tray on the mounting bracket. The single-slide mechanism of the tray assembly also includes a moveable resilient tongue-like pawl which operates to releasably lock the tray at a desired vertical position relative to the mounting bracket.
