  • Patent number: 4788172
Abstract: New compositions and methods of preparing hydrolyzed titanium chelates are disclosed. New chelates of tetra-isopropyl titanate with alkanolamines in 1/1 mole ratios have high activity as catalysts and exhibit surprising chemical characteristics as reactive intermediates. New partially hydrolized chelates are water soluble, chemically reactive and highly active as esterification catalysts.
