    Abstract: A resin impregnated and coated, fibrous, chemical resistant decorative laminate is made, having a bottom portion impregnated with phenolic resin, a top portion impregnated and coated with vinyl ester terminated bisphenol A epoxy resin, and a middle portion impregnated with aminotriazine-aldehyde resin which acts as a barrier to phenolic resin contact with the vinyl ester terminated bisphenol A epoxy resin.
