  • Publication number: 20240093663
Abstract: A DC power plant generating DC power from a variety of engines including a Stirling cycle engine. The DC power plant includes a relatively small start-up power source that is discontinued after the engine is running. A method for producing DC power for a load including starting up an engine using power supplied by a relatively small power supply supplemented by a capacitor bank, providing output from the engine to a generator, producing alternating current (AC) power by the generator, converting the AC power to direct current (DC) power, disabling output of the DC power during a first set of pre-selected conditions, limiting a rate of change of current of the DC power during a second set of pre-selected conditions, reducing conducted and radiated emissions of the DC power, disconnecting the DC power from the load under a third set of pre-selected conditions, and providing the DC power to the load.

  • Publication number: 20100018264
Abstract: A lock assembly portion may include a housing assembly, first and second latches, at least one latch drive, and at least one actuator. The housing assembly includes a first end portion and an opposite second end portion. The first latch is associated with the first end portion. The second latch is associated with the second end portion. The at least one actuator interfaces the latch drive to the first and second latches. Operation of the latch drive causes the first and second latches to move relative to one another between respective extended and retracted positions.

  • Patent number: 7339473
Abstract: A device for securing a gated enclosure includes a latch including a power lock motor and a bolt. The power lock motor is operable to engage the bolt with a catch portion of a pin protruding from the gate when the gate is closed, thereby preventing extraction of the pin from the device. The device includes a switch operated by a key to activate the latch. The device can include an electric horn, a light, a battery, and circuitry powered by the battery, the circuitry operable to send a signal to one or more of the horn and the light.
