  • Patent number: 4270418
Abstract: A tool for removing bungs and screws comprises a shank adapted for connection to a rotated drive and an enlarged head with transverse axial slots formed therethrough and an axial threaded bore defining a plurality of flutes. Each flute has a first flat axial side with a radial outer edge inclined outwardly toward the shank at an acute angle. The radial edge terminates in a flat relief surface extending at an increased acute angle toward the shank, and terminates in a flat clearance surface extending at a further increased angle. The relief surface terminates in a second flat axial side arranged at at least a 90 degree angle to the first flat side.

  • Patent number: 4040535
Abstract: A condensation proof glass assembly includes a cup of plastic material having an inner wall surface and a bottom wall, and a glass container having a similarly shaped outer wall surface and a bottom wall, snugly projected down into the cup, with the bottom walls spaced apart defining a spill over and condensation reservoir. A plurality of upright grooves in the outer surface of the container define corresponding ridges engaging the cup, with the grooves forming a series of drip channels conducting water to the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 4010526
Abstract: A cut off tool comprises an elongated support blade of uniform thickness adapted for mounting in a tool holder and having a head projecting above said blade at one end thereof. An elongated carbide insert having an undercut slot is mounted over the top of said head and is adapted for securing thereon. The insert is of uniform cross section having side walls which taper downwardly and inwardly, end walls which taper downwardly and inwardly and a top surface which is transversely concave along its length to define with an end face a concave leading cutting edge. An elongated lock body is loosely mounted upon and along the support blade and includes at one end a locking head defining a chip breaker and carbide insert lock. The body is notched at its forward end defining with said lock head a hold down part which overlies and retainingly engages said insert.

  • Patent number: 3999265
Abstract: The circular cut-off blade includes an arcuate body of about 90.degree.-180.degree. approximately in length and having parallel sides, and a continuous arcuate enlarged head along one side edge of the body throughout its length, said body and head being of uniform cross section. The opposed side walls of the head and its top surface being transversely concave and hollow ground to define therebetween continuous cutting corners. The leading edge face of the body and head being cut away inwardly and rearwardly to define a clearance angle with said leading edge face defining with said head an arcuate cutting edge. Said body and head after wear of its cutting edge adapted for progressive grinding of its clearance angle leading edge face to provide a progressive series of cutting edges along the length of said blade.
