  • Publication number: 20200108745
Abstract: A vehicle seat is provided with a plate member attached to the back of the seat back. The plate member is configured by a core plate and a cover that covers the core plate, the plate member is sewed together with a cover of the back of the seat back, and a sewed part of the cover of the plate member and the cover of the seat back functions as a turning axis of the plate member. The plate member is turned an unfolded state covering concave clearance formed between the back directed upward of the seat back and a floor surface on the back side by pushing down the seat back forward, and the plate member is turned a housed state in which the plate member is piled on the back of the seat back by raising the seat back backward.

  • Publication number: 20100107549
Abstract: A sleeve for covering the exposed rafters of a structure to prevent premature damage to new construction, and to cover older damaged rafters. The rafter sleeve has two elongated side walls and an elongated bottom for covering the longer side and bottom dimensions of the exposed portion of a rafter. An end cap covers the terminal end of the rafter, and a top covers the portion of top of the rafter extending beyond the eave of a roof. The rafter sleeves can be made in rectangular profile for flat rafters or in parallelogram profile for the rafters of a pitched roof. The rafter sleeve is attached to a rafter in a manner that a portion of the sleeve extends under the eave, and is sealed around the edges. After installation, the sleeve can be painted to resemble an undamaged rafter.

  • Publication number: 20050247330
Abstract: In an embodiment of the invention, a system for detecting a presence of a liquid in an ultrasonic frequency device is formed of a first electrode coupled to a voltage source and extending into a fluid reservoir of the ultrasonic device, a second electrode separated from the first electrode by a fluid gap, coupled to a common circuit point, and extending into the fluid reservoir, a first resistor in series with the voltage source and the first electrode, a voltage sensor coupled to a junction between the first resistor and the first electrode for sensing a voltage at the junction, and an apparatus for comparing the sensed voltage to a threshold voltage to determine a presence of a fluid within the fluid reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20050188743
Abstract: An automatic ultrasonic frequency calibration scheme is provided to automatically calibrate an ultrasonic frequency device to a resonant frequency by using a logic circuit such as a microcontroller to generate a series of distinct digitally synthesized frequencies, measure the power supply current at one or more terminals of a power amplifier at each frequency step generated by the microcontroller, compare the obtained power supply current readings to one another to determine a current reading indicative of a resonant frequency of a ultrasonic transducer, and set the resonant frequency.

  • Publication number: 20050076788
Abstract: A brewing apparatus, such as a coffeemaker, including a hot water heater; a first temperature sensor connected to the hot water heater; a second temperature sensor connected to either a cold water inlet to the heater or a hot water outlet from the heater; a pump connected to the cold water inlet for supplying water to the heater; and a controller coupled to the pump and the sensors. The pump is a variable speed pump. The controller is adapted to adjust the speed of the pump based upon signals from the sensors.
