  • Publication number: 20210387780
Abstract: This present invention relates to a case or package carrier for holding consumer goods, such as bottles of water, juice, or other beverages or drinks, and enables a user to easily carry and lift the case carrier. The case or package carrier comes with either an integrated handle or a standalone handle, which may be applied by the user to the carrier. Additionally, the handle of the case carrier is made of a durable collapsible plastic which allows the user to save space while storing the cases, as the user can easily stack the cases one on top of the other. The case carrier helps to reduce the strain on the user's back and body due to lifting of the cases.

  • Patent number: 8708208
Abstract: An apparatus for separating dunnage from a pallet including a base plate for placement on a floor, a shearing surface positioned at a predetermined distance above the base plate, and means for securing the shearing surface to the base plate. The shearing surface includes a bottom edge which is substantially planar with the base plate. The base plate, bottom edge of the shearing surface, and the means for securing define an opening for passing a pallet therethrough. In a second aspect, a method is provided for separating dunnage from a pallet which includes providing the apparatus, and forcing the pallet through the opening, whereby the shearing surface separates the dunnage from the pallet when the pallet passes through the opening.

  • Patent number: 5070762
Abstract: A dual ammunition transfer mechanism includes a pair of ammunition round feed conveyors for selectively conveying the same size but different types of rounds toward a pivotal round selector finger. One conveyor is stopped while the other conveyor is driven causing the rounds therein to move past a round deflector finger which guides the rounds between driven star wheels and a Z-shaped feeder. A round kicker drives rounds one at a time into a slot in a disc rotating at high speeds and having camming surfaces therein which cooperates with a round lifting finger which momentarily enters the slot and stops the round while the disc continues to rotate while camming the round out of the slot at a rate of up the 400 rounds per minute.

  • Patent number: 4648596
Abstract: A football place kicking apparatus having a rotatable hopper for releasably retaining a plurality of footballs with a motor for rotating the hopper for presenting a football to a mechanism for grasping a football from the football supporting hopper, one at a time, and removing the football from the hopper and displacing it along a directed path of travel to a lowered position adjacent to the apparatus for place kicking the football while it is held by the grasping mechanism. After the football is kicked, a new cycle is begun by returning the grasping mechanism to its original position for grasping another football from the hopper. The new cycle is completed when the grasped football is moved to the place kicking position and kicked. An electrical circuit is energized by a foot-actuated switch to operate the hopper motor and to operate the football grasping mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4394555
Abstract: A printed circuit board carrying a keyboard switch is mounted perpendicularly to a switch panel. An actuator having a push button portion extending through an aperture in the panel is pivotally mounted for movement about an axis parallel to both the panel and the circuit board. An operator portion of the actuator extends into contact with the switch so that a force on the push button generally parallel to the circuit board effects switch operation in a direction perpendicular to the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4376236
Abstract: A combination turn signal switch and dimmer switch assembly for automotive vehicles comprises a two part lever comprising an actuator and a handle. The actuator is pivoted to a switch housing for rocking movement about an axis on either side of a neutral position for selective turn signal switch actuation. The handle is pivoted to the actuator about an axis transverse to the actuator pivot axis and is movable between a neutral position and a dimmer switch actuation position. The handle has a V-shaped ramp surface engaged by a leaf spring which serves to press the handle toward its neutral position as well as to cam the actuator toward its neutral position. The turn signal switches are keyboard switches mounted on a printed circuit board secured to the housing. The switches are spaced below the path of the actuator and are actuated by forces perpendicular to the actuator path. Spring elements or flexible levers secured to the circuit board and contacting the switches extend into the actuator path.
