  • Publication number: 20240126220
Abstract: A building system including one or more memory devices configured to store instructions that, when executed on one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to collect building device data of a building device, generate a time correlated data stream for a data point, and generate a time correlated reliability data stream for the data point. The building device data includes a plurality of data samples of the data point. The time correlated data stream includes values of the plurality of data samples of the data point. The time correlated reliability data stream includes a plurality of reliability values time correlated to corresponding values of the plurality of data samples of the data point and indicating reliability of the values of the plurality of data samples of the data point.

  • Patent number: 11008809
Abstract: A drilling assembly includes a power section with a housing that rotates in a first direction at a drill string rotation rate. An output rotates a drill bit through a transmission shaft in the first direction at a rotor rotation rate relative to the housing. A bent housing between the power section and the drill bit rotates in a second direction at a variable rotation rate relative to the power housing. The transmission shaft extends through the bent housing. A mechanical brake system adjusts the bent housing's variable rotation rate. The bent housing rotates relative to the wellbore in a rotary mode, but not in a sliding mode. The sliding mode maintains the drill bit's direction and inclination while the drill string rotates. In all modes, the drill bit's rotation rate is the sum of the drill string rate and the rotor rate relative to the power housing.

  • Patent number: 6978850
Abstract: In one embodiment, a directional apparatus is disclosed for orienting and maintaining a desired orientation of a drill bit, which will be attachable to a drill string and include an asymmetrically weighted outer sleeve that is susceptible to the earth's gravity in such fashion that the side of the sleeve having a higher specific gravity will be “down” when the directional apparatus is in a segment of non-vertical wellbore. A clutch is included for transmitting a desired amount of rotational energy from a rotating drill string to a drill assembly containing the drill bit. Sensors in the sleeve and/or other elements of the apparatus detect the orientation, which may be stored in memory. The apparatus may also include one or more anti-rotational elements.

  • Patent number: 6273190
Abstract: A plug for a wellbore including a plug element adapted to traverse the wellbore and a reservoir coupled to the plug element. The reservoir is hydraulically coupled to an annular space between a wall of the wellbore and an exterior surface of the plug element. The reservoir carries a filler material within. Extrusion of the filler material from the reservoir causes the filler material to fill the annular space so as to bind the plug element within the wall of the wellbore. One embodiment of the plug an anti-rotation element coupled to the plug element. The plug element can be coupled to drill pipe by opposite-hand thread whereby engagement of the anti-rotation element enables decoupling of the plug from the drill pipe by normal-direction rotation of the drill pipe.

  • Patent number: 6216802
Abstract: An apparatus for orienting a drilling assembly. In one embodiment the apparatus include a first driveshaft coupled to the drilling assembly, a second driveshaft flexibly coupled at one end to the first driveshaft, and an orientation collar disposed outside the first and second driveshafts so that the first and second driveshafts are freely rotatable within the collar. The is collar substantially coaxial with the first driveshaft and is adapted to maintain a substantially fixed rotary position.
