Abstract: A double spiral conveyor includes two spiral chutes, each chute being positioned diametrically opposite the other in a helical relationship about a central axis of a central tubular support. The spiral chutes begin in the same upper horizontal plane and terminate in the same lower horizontal plane. The spiral conveyor further includes a rotatable discharge pan that receives the transported product as it is discharged from the two spiral chutes and directs the product to a predetermined location.

Abstract: A vertical lift conveyor has two adjacent, parallel conveyors for simultaneous upward movement of adjacent surfaces of the parallel conveyors, with one of the conveyors having spaced apart flites attached thereto, for transporting bulk food items along a multi-level transport path. The conveyors rotate in opposite directions, but are geared to run from a single gear box to insure equal belt velocity. One of the conveyors is pivotally hinged to the other conveyor for swinging the pivotally attached conveyor away from the remaining conveyor for access to the facing surfaces of the parallel conveyors.

Abstract: A food conveyor apparatus includes a frame, a cross support structure, and a platform. A plurality of rows of oblong holes are cut along the lengths of the platform, each row being offset from the adjacent rows of holes. The platform supports an endless mesh conveyor belt and containment clips mounted along the edges of the platform hold the conveyor belt on the platform. A plurality of vertical tubular supports are secured between the bottom of the platform and a plurality of horizontal tubular supports that extend across the width of the platform between the frame struts. A sideboard is mounted to the frame struts and positioned above the edges of the conveyor belt along the length of the platform.
