  • Patent number: 11986690
Abstract: The method of maintaining a first flow rate through a first valve in a fluid delivery system, the fluid delivery system including a and a plurality of fluid valves in fluid communication with the pump, and a controller controlling the pressure generated by the pump and the position of the plurality of valves. The method includes providing the first flow rate of a fluid pressurized by the pump through the first valve, receiving a request for a second flow rate of the fluid through a second valve, determining a predicted effect on the first flow rate based on the request, adjusting at least one of the position of the first valve and the pressure generated by the pump to maintain the first flow rate based on the predicted effect, and adjusting the position of the second valve to provide the second flow rate of the fluid through the second valve.

  • Publication number: 20110226821
Abstract: A footwear kit may include a shoe horn, a hooking device, and a shoe configured for use with the hooking device and shoe horn. The shoes of the footwear kit may include an eyelet on the tongue of the shoe. If the shoe is configured with a closure flap, the closure flap may also include an eyelet near the end of the closure flap. Alternatively, the footwear kit may include eyelet attachments that may be affixed to existing shoes at the tongue or closure flap. The shoe horn may have a handle at a first end and a curved member at a second end for assisting a user to place his or her heel in the heel of a shoe. The hooking device may have a handle at a first end and a hook at a second end configured for hooking the eyelets lactated on the shoes.

  • Patent number: 5400671
Abstract: A side shifting mechanism for a transaxle includes a shift shaft which is rotatably mounted about an axis which is parallel to the axes of the drive axles. A portion of the shift shaft extends out the side of the transaxle to a location where it can be conveniently grasped by an operator. The shift shaft cooperates with a detent plate located within the transaxle. The detent plate is pivotably mounted on a pivot shaft. Rotation of the shift shaft causes pivoting movement of the detent plate about the pivot shaft. The detent plate is connected to an axially movable shifting collar. The relative position of the collar determines which of a plurality of gear ratios of the transaxle is selected for use. Thus, by rotating the shift shaft, the operator can select a desired gear ratio. In a first embodiment of the invention, the shift shaft and the detent plate are formed having cooperating bevel gear portions.
