The first audio looping device being configured to receive a first audio signal from a first musical instrument and to store the first audio signal. The first audio looping device being further configured to playback the stored first audio signal as a first loop a first number of times. The first audio looping device being further configured to transmit synchronization information to the second audio looping device that stores a second audio signal and that plays back the stored second audio signal as a second loop a second number of times. The synchronization information enabling the first loop and the second loop to be synchronized with one another during playback.
