  • Publication number: 20250334709
Abstract: A seismic detection system is provided. The system is comprised of a mobile application that uses an existing magnetometer of a smart device, such as a cell phone, to measure and submit low-frequency electromagnetic field (EMF) emissions to a collection point. This data is then analyzed to create a crowdsourced seismic detection network that delivers real-time, continuous data from multiple users. The collected EMF measurements are used to predict significant geophysical events like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and geomagnetic reversals. When such an event is predicted, the application alerts the user through various means such as texts, calls, emails, push notifications, or sounds, providing details about the type and severity of the impending disaster.

  • Publication number: 20250211670
Abstract: A portable alarm device is disclosed, which is a portable alarm that is secured to a user's cell phone. The portable alarm device comprises a base component secured to the back of a user's cell phone. The grip member component is typically rounded in shape and comprises a rectangular component which mates with the base component and secures the device to a user's cell phone. The grip member component comprises a built-in self-defense alarm and speaker, that is rechargeable via a USB-C charging port, as needed. Further, the grip member device can be expanded to provide a grip and a kickstand. The grip member component can also comprise a pull ring locking mechanism, a pull ring, a safety chain, and an alarm pin to activate the built-in alarm. Finally, the grip member component is detachable and functions on its own.

  • Publication number: 20090006246
Abstract: A system and method for testing an electronic or on-line credit application process is provided. The system and method, which may be run in a production environment, include selecting at least one fictional credit applicant entity from an entity database. A script database then executes one or more predetermined test scripts using the information from the entity database to simulate a real credit application through the electronic or on-line process. Screen shots or other data may then be recorded such that a tester may review the process to ensure the system is properly operational.

  • Publication number: 20050227086
Abstract: A composite or multi-layer sheet material, suitable for use as a housewrap material, and the manufacturing process therefore, comprising an extruded pressure sensitive adhesive disposed between a polypropylene fabric layer, woven or non-woven, and a polyurethane layer. Preferably a scrim reinforcing layer is disposed between the polypropylene layer and the polyurethane layer for added strength and tear resistance. A non-slip layer may be added to the exterior side of the polypropylene layer for certain applications, such as roof underlayment. The material is an absolute barrier to liquid water transmission that has moderate permeability to water vapor of greater than 35 grams/sq. meter/24 hrs, and most preferably between approximately 105 to 210 grams/sq. meter/24 hrs.
