    Abstract: A vanity lighting system for concealing a lighting apparatus when a pivotally mounted cover is closed and positioning the lighting apparatus through movement of the cover as it is opened. The vanity lighting apparatus comprises a housing providing an opening, a mirror; an illumination lamp located within the housing, a cover pivotably movable between a closed position overlaying the opening and an open position at least partially spaced from the opening. The cover encloses the lamp such that when the cover is in the closed position the lamp is hidden from view. Additionally, the vanity lighting apparatus comprises a first support assembly including at least two pivotal points operably coupled with the cover and the lamp and a second support assembly including at least one pivotable point operably coupled with the housing and the lamp, wherein the first and second support assemblies provide movement of the lamp in response to the movement of the cover.

    Abstract: A portable support boom for supporting both a video camera and a video monitor includes a foldable boom having the video camera fixed to a remote portion of the boom and the video monitor mounted to an accessible portion of the boom. The support boom is held upright and directed by a cameraman in such a manner that the he may directly view images displayed by the monitor and recorded by the remote camera.

    Abstract: A modular video switching system for switching a video signal from one of many video cameras to a video monitor. The system includes one or more individual modules each containing a limited set of input channels. The modules can be cascaded with each other to permit scanning of the video signals from all modules on to a single video monitor. Also provision is made for modular camera controls, requiring only a single control for all cameras, using modular circuitry to rout the control signals to the appropriate camera.
